Examples:

- Facebook Inc.'s stock took a hit Monday after an article in the financial magazine Barron's said it is "still too pricey (expensive)" despite a sharp decline (decrease) since its initial public offering.

- "The capacity of Britain's economy to produce goods and services has taken a hit," Bank of England's Paul Fisher said on Tuesday.
