TO BE SNOWED UNDER (WITH SOMETHING) = TO HAVE A LOT OF WORK, TO BE BOMBARDED WITH SOMETHING, TO BE OVERWHELMED (WITH SOMETHING)

Examples:

- Snowed under with requests for mobile and social apps, IT finds itself juggling priorities to give business what it wants -- now.

- I would like to help you, but I’m snowed under because of these computer issues (problems).

- Ever wonder why you find yourself reaching for a bag of crisps or some chocolate when you’re snowed under at work or dealing with some problems? Research has found the answer. Apparently stress is the biggest cause of overeating for more than half of the country’s adults.

- I am snowed under at the moment because my manager wants me to make a presentation about our banking services.
